We have a 50 year old property with a back yard that was cluttered with weed variety trees, old stumps, agapanthus, volcanic rock and a big old pond (that attracted snakes). I also needed a 40m trench from house to garage and I knew that the ground would be mud stone. Bryce was efficient at responding to my initial enquiry via the Axis Earthworks web site. After some details about the work over the phone with Bryce, he popped out for a site visit and we received a quotation for the works via email the next day. We had a couple of prices from other operators and the Axis earthworks price was reasonable. I decided to use Axis as the reviews were great! Axis gave us about 1 weeks notice prior to starting on site which was perfect for us. Our only concerns were mess and damage to some old trees in the back yard. They turned up with a 5.5T excavator and a Skid steer. Bryce and his assistant did a fantastic job without any mishaps. They were extremely efficient in completing the tasks and took great care of our home and backyard while always keeping us informed of what was going on and asking questions for specific instruction to deliver what we wanted. There were a couple of changes and additions to our original quote during the works and Bryce was happy to get those jobs done. It was a 4 day job and Bryce stayed around to make sure the backyard was as neat and clean as possible. Considering the works that were completed, we were very happy with the standard of the job and the way the backyard was cleaned up. Definitely recommend for excavation works.
