About Axis Earthworx, Excavation Contractor in Diamond Creek and the North East

Bryce started out as a carpenter, working for McDowell Building & Construction before he ever sat in an excavator. That background matters more than most people realise. He isn't just moving dirt, he's thinking about what the builder needs once the framing starts, because he's been the tradesman standing on the other end of a bad site cut.

He was referred into setting up his own site by Patrick at McDowell Building & Construction, and Axis Earthworx has been trading in the North East ever since. He has clocked up more than 10 years of hands-on experience across driveways, site cuts, drilling and trenching, working directly with homeowners as well as subcontracting for builders and bigger excavation companies.

Ask him what he stands for and he'll say it straight: “Good work isn't cheap, cheap work isn't good.” He'd rather quote a job properly and do it once than race to the bottom on price and leave someone with a driveway that washes out in a year.

Axis Earthworx isn't trying to become a company with a fleet and a crew. He has deliberately kept it a one-man operation, because it means every job still gets his full attention.
